About me…..hmmmm…. I’ve been married for 7 years and my wife and I have one child. Oh, can’t forget our dog, a bull mastiff named Nee-Nee. I graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelors degree and then earned a Master’s degrees in Business. Even though I had good paying job I was still finding that I had more month at the end of my money. I did everything I thought I was supposed to do: go to school, get good grades, get a job, get stock options and you’ll have a nest egg big enough to choke a horse. I am in no way knocking an education because it is the most important aspect of your life that will last you a forever. But I also realized that a formal education will make you a living; self education will make you rich. And I wanted the latter.

I’ve been in the network marketing industry for a little over 4 years consecutively. I had a taste of it while in college and shortly after graduation as well, so tack on another year or two. So overall about 5-6 years and with each company I joined, the outcome was about the same, break even at best.

I got this Twitter direct message from a young lady that is in the game that I was following back in July: “Ur BIO sucks & so does ur twitter background! Y r u branding ABC Company so hard but not Urself? Dont take it personal Only here 2 help :0)” At first I got a little offended, but realized she was right. The companies that we’re a part of are masters at marketing the company. We’re in business, right? So why aren’t we marketing ourselves? You, Inc. From that point on I focused on positioning myself as a leader in the industry. That’s where it clicked with me that people follow people, not companies.

So as a leader I’ve turned my focus on what I can give to people without anything in return. I understand if I help people get what they want, I’ll have everything that I want. Now that you know a little bit about me and my journey, what’s your story?
